Bill Gates congratulates PM Modi for Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission launching
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked to billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates congratulated him and praised the Indian government’s Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission following its launch.
Bill Gates said that the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission would ensure equitable and accessible healthcare in India. “Congratulations Narendra Modi on the national launch of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. This digital health infrastructure will help ensure equitable, accessible healthcare delivery and accelerate progress on India’s health goals.”
Thanking him, PM Modi said there was “immense scope” in increasing technology’s use for the betterment of health infrastructure and India was working hard to achieve that.
PM Modi had launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission on Monday, saying it had the potential to bring “revolutionary changes in our health facilities“.

The key components of the mission include a health ID for every citizen that will also be used as their health account. PM Modi said the initiative would play a big role in alleviating problems in medical treatment of the poor and middle class families in India.
