Angry Elephant attacking a man captured in mobile camera in Assam
On Sunday a 30-year-old man, who is recognised as Kanak Rai, was chased and attacked by a wild elephant in Tamarhat in Assam’s Dhubri district.
He was severely injured in the incident and has been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
The incident was filmed on cellphone cameras by the locals. In the video, the wild elephant can be seen chasing the man and attacking him after he fell down in a paddy field.

According to reports, the wild elephant entered Uanpetla village near Tamarhat area in Dhubri district on Saturday morning.
After the attack, the injured man was first taken to a primary health centre in Tamarhat. Later, the doctors referred him to Dhubri Civil Hospital.
Meanwhile, the local people’s said that the wild elephant is still roaming around in the area.
