CM Sarma Announces to give extra Rs.25,000 to all the Bihu Artists
Over 12,000 folk dancers, drummers to perform Bihu dance on April 14 infront of PM Modi
Guwahati,April 12: During the massive rehearsal for “Guinness World records” with highest numbers of dancers ever to be held on April 14 in Assam at ‘Indira Gandhi athletes Stadium’.
Amidst the practice Chief Minister Sarma on his frequent visit to inspect the whole preparedness. on April 13 evening he after witnessing the Assamese traditional ‘Bihu Dance’ he announced to give additional of Rs 25,000 to all the participants in Guinness World records event.
Earlier Rs 11,000 were already transferred to the respective bank accounts of all the artist .
He also announced the provide Skill india National certificate to each Artist’s under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
Despite of that State certificate with Signature of Chief Minister will also be distributed to all the drummers and dancers.
PM Narendra Modi will be the chief guest on the New Year of Assamese. Schedule has already been made to attend the mega Bihu celebration .
PM Modi will launch several projects on the same day.
Anybody who wishes to watch the performers live can visit the Sarusajai Stadium and witness the performance from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
