Manipur violence: Assam Govt Extend support’s to refugees of Manipur
Over 1000 refugees are given shelter,food and others facilities in Cachar district
In the amidst of violence in Manipur Over 1000 people from violence-hit Manipur enter Assam’s Cachar to take shelter.
The Chachar district administration made all the arrangements for the refugees by providing food’s drinking water facilities to various parts of district.
Earlier, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that several affected families of Manipur have sought for refuge In Assam.
“I have requested district administration to take care of their families. I am also in touch with CM N.Beren Singh of Manipur and have promise for the full support from Assam during this hour of crisis”.
So far more than 9000 people’s were rescued from the violence hot areas in Manipur.
Rapid Action Forces, Paramilitary forces, Special forces, Assam Rifles are being deployed to ease the situation in Manipur.
