Karbi Anglong Breaking: More than 5 persons injured during clashes at Kheroni

West Karbi Anglong, February 16, 2023: More than 5 persons injured at Kheroni under the attack by some unknown miscreants in west Karbi Anglong District on Thursday around 5 PM.

The incident happened during the protest and demonstration organised by Karbi Students Association (KSA), Autonomous State  Demand Committee Youth Front (ASDCYF).

The protest was being conducted against the the demand of Rachanatmak Nodia Sanyukta (Sangh RNSS).

As per the sources the argument took place between some Bihari  miscreants and protestors resulting massive violence.

It is learned that more and more people’s joint the mass protest while all the protestors refused to leave the spot until and unless action was taken against the attackers. Later Police reached the place to take control the situation.
