Guwahati, Mar 30(UNI) Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) General Secretary Manas Bora and All India Professionals Congress (AIPCC) Assam President Gaurav Somani on Saturday resigned from the Congress party.
Manas Bora, son of senior Congress leader and former Minister Akan Bora, sent his resignation letter to Congress national President Mallikarjun Kharge.
On the other hand, Gaurav Somani resigned from the primary membership of the party by sending his resignation letter to Pradesh Congress President Bhupen Borah.
The resignation of these two young leaders, who are close to the Congress candidate from Jorhat, Gaurav Gogoi, is of great significance.
