SECURITY FORCES RENOVATED PRIMARY SCHOOL IN VILL KAHULONG, DIST TAMENGLONG, MANIPUR

AZIR KHOBOR, MANIPUR, 24TH MAY, 2022 : Tamenglong Battalion of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) under Spear Corps has initiated a unique Jan Bagidhari campaign in the district where the battalion is assisting in repairing and renovation of government school buildings. The school building have been repaired, completely repainted. Besides renovating the school an extensive cleanliness drive with landscaping and beautification of the surrounding area has been completed.

The renovated school building was handed over to school authorities in presence of the village authorities by Commandant. So far, the battalion in collaboration with locals has renovated eight different government school buildings till date. With better and improved teaching learning space, the battalion aims at improving the education standards in far flung areas of the Tamenglong and KPI district.
