6 arrested in connection with Moose Wala’s murder – Dr. Dibyajyoti Saikia raised questions about the incident

AZIR KHOBOR, 2 JUNE, 2022 : Punjab, Chandigarh: A Day after the murder of Congress leader and singer Sidhu Moose Wala, the Punjab Police has raided Dehradun and detained 6 people.

It is being told that one of these youths was involved in the plot of this murder. The Special Cell of Delhi Police interrogated several gangsters lodged in Tihar in the case.

It is known that Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi have claimed responsibility for the murder. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced that the incident would be probed by a sitting judge of the High Court.

Moose Wala’s father had written a letter demanding this, which the Chief Minister accepted. For this, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will also be asked to help. It is noteworthy that on May 29, unidentified persons opened fire on Moose Wala in Punjab’s Mansa district, killing him on the spot.

Unknown assailants suddenly fired about 30 rounds from AK-47 on Sidhu Moose Wala. Assam’s national-level human rights and social activist, Dr. Dibyajyoti Saikia, has reacted to this incident.

He said who the original accused of the incident would be known only later. In reality, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwat Mann and Home Department are blamed for this incident. This incident happened due to the government withdrawing private security personnel without investigation. He called it an incident of human rights violation.

Referring to Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, he said that the Assam government had withdrawn the security of many distinguished people of the state along with him without reviewing any security arrangements.

These include people working against drugs and superstitions. It is not difficult to guess from this that they are running the Home Department arbitrarily.
