A man attacked a woman constable with an Iron rod on her face
NEW DELHI, August 30: On Monday a woman police constable sustained serious injuries when a man reportedly has attacked her with an iron rod on her face when the police constable confronted him after he passed ‘dirty remarks‘ at her during her patrolling duty time.
As per the sources the incident took place at Aliganj area in Lucknow on Sunday. The sources also informed that the man identified as Prabhat Kumar who is a resident of the area has reportedly passed vulgar comments to the woman police constable when she patrolling in the area.
Sources said that the criminal man is a son of an advocate.
As soon as the man passed the dirty comments on the woman constable, she confronted him. The man immediately attacked the constable with an iron rod.
Soon after the incident, the constable was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police sources informed that the person who attacked the constable was booked for attempted murder, eve-teasing, and grievously hurting a public servant.

Soon after the incident, the constable was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police sources informed that the person who attacked the constable was booked for attempted to murder section 307, section 332,eve-teasing, and grievously hurting a public servant.
They also informed them that police has arrested him and started interrogation.
