Young Indians Guwahati Chapter organises health camp for GMC employees

Azir khobor, Guwahati, May 11, 2022: Young Indians (Yi) Guwahati Chapter in association with Guwahati Municipal Corporation organised a free health camp for the employees of Guwahati Municipal Corporation today.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Bidita Das, Co-Chair, Yi Guwahati Chapter said, “The GMC team is the backbone of our city’s wellbeing, and their exemplary work makes us proud. As responsible community members it is our duty to do our bit in ensuring that they are safe while performing their duties. We are glad to be contributing a little towards the up keep of their health through this camp.”

In the health camp ,a doctor was arranged for health checkup in collaboration with Apollo clinic. Following items were distributed as a health kit in the camp-

Rubber boots; Vitamin B Complex Capsules; Masks; Anti-septic Soap.

The camp was organized by the health vertical of Yi Guwahtai Chapter in association with Executive Engineer Div II, Zoo Road, Guwahati Municipal Corporation. 150 employees have been benefited from the camp. Yi Guwahati Chapter Health Vertical has been in forefront of promoting and contributing to good health of the citizens of the country. A team of Yi Guwahati Chapter members was also present at the occasion, and they interacted with Guwahati Municipal Corporation’s Employees.
