The summit, held in Guwahati, Assam, brought together key stakeholders to discuss crucial issues and strategies related to e-waste management and recycling in North Eastern India.

Implementation Strategy of New E-waste Rules: Discussions centred on the latest e-waste regulations, ensuring stakeholders understood and were equipped to comply with these rules effectively.
Challenges Faced and Initiatives Taken by Hulladek in North East India: Hulladek Recycling shared its experiences, outlining the specific challenges faced in the North Eastern states and the initiatives taken to overcome them.

Expanding Hulladek’s Waste Management Solutions: Announcements were made regarding Hulladek’s expansion into other waste categories, including automotive catalytic converters, lithium-ion batteries, and lead-acid batteries.
Collaborations with Industry Leaders: Hulladek proudly announced its merger with TrustMat Material LLP to establish a recycling plant for processing of electronic and electrical waste in Guwahati, Assam. This plant would serve as a hub for its various waste collection centres across North Eastern states of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh.
