IN ALLEGED FRUAD CASE CHANDIGARH POLICE SUMMON SALMAN KHAN SISTER ALVIRA AND OTHERS

GUWAHATI July 08:The Chandigarh Police on Thursday (July 8) summoned Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri and 7 others associated with actor’s Being Human foundation in an alleged fraud case. The ‘Bharat’ actor and other people have been given time till July 13 to give respond  in the matter.

Arun Gupta filed a complaint against Salman, his sister, Being Human CEO and other officials, accusing them of fraud. The trader claimed in his FIR  that two Being Human employees asked him to open a franchise in Chandigarh to have good gain and turnover ahead.

“They have been given time till July 13 to reply the matter.

If there’s anything criminal, or offences done action will be taken,” Chandigarh SP Ketan Bansal was quoted as saying by ANI.

Gupta alleged that he didn’t receive any stock after opening the showroom. He said that the employees of Being Human arranged a meet-and-greet session with Salman Khan and the ‘Race 3’ star promised to take care of the concerns issues. He said that he didn’t receive anything even after one-and-a-half years.

On the professional front, Salman was last seen in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. The action drama co-starring Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda released on ZEEPlEX and leading DTH platforms on May 13. Despite receiving scathing reviews, the film managed to perform well on the OTT platform.

Salman has a couple of exciting films in his kitty including ‘Kabhie Eid Kabhie Diwali’ and ‘Tiger 3’. He will team up with Katrina Kaif for the third installment of ‘Tiger’ franchise, which is produced by YRF Films. Bollywood’s Bhai will be seen having romance with Pooja Hegde in ‘Kabhie Eid Kabhie Diwali’, which is expected to modify  title alteration.
